The Stamps Quartet boasts the longest history of any professional, male quartet, in America still in existence and singing today. The Quartet began in 1924 by V.O. Stamps and Frank Stamps in Gilmer, TX.
The Stamps rocketed to fame when they toured and recorded with their longtime friend, Elvis Presley, from 1971 until his untimely death in 1977.
The Stamps Quartet have received numerous Grammy and Dove Awards including “Best Gospel Group” and “Best Gospel Album”.
