Buck and Dottie Rambo began their career together in the 1950s as the Gospel Echoes, changing their name to The Singing Rambos when 13 year old daughter Reba joined the group. In 1964, the group signed with Benson’s Heart Warming label. More than 60 albums later, the group is best known for its unique harmony style and rich songwriting talents. Called by some, “Inverted Harmony,” each member of the group would trade and eventually sing all three vocal parts- often with in the same song. Dottie Rambo has written more than 1,500 songs including “He Looked Beyond My Fault,” “Sheltered in the Arms of God” and the 1982 Gospel Music Association Song of the Year, “We Shall Behold Him.”
